Registered Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is the assessment and treatment of soft tissues and joints of the body. I use traditional Swedish massage techniques during treatment and also draw on craniosacral therapy and visceral manipulation.

Prenatal Massage Therapy

Massage therapy is safe at all stages of a normal healthy pregnancy. Childbearing comes with specific physical strain which can often be relieved through manual therapeutic treatment. Common conditions include low back pain, sacroiliac pain, round ligament pain, insomnia, carpal tunnel syndrome, and muscle aches.

Pediatric Massage Therapy

Pediatric massage appointments are often a shorter duration but are otherwise similar in therapeutic style. Massage therapy for children and adolescents can reduce stress, improve sleep habits, reduce musculoskeletal pain, improve body awareness, and support new neural pathway growth. Treatment will also foster confidence with interacting with healthcare providers, promote bodily autonomy, and help young ones trust themselves and empower them to identify their needs in treatment planning.
